Art Student Exhibition in NY 2012
ISE CULTURAL FOUNDATION is pleased to present "Art Student Exhibition in NY". This exhibition offers art students a place to exhibit their artwork in SOHO. We are exhibiting all submitted artworks by art students from all over the world. We will invite the celebrated art professionals as Jurors, who will be awarding selected works at the Award Ceremony/Closing Party after the exhibition. Also, the New York City Audience Award will be determined by the votes of the audience.
No Selection. We exhibit all artworks we receive.
Exhibition Schedule
Mailing Artwork registration period: 6/26 (T) - 7/3 (T) 11:00AM-6:00PM
*The gallery close on Sunday and Monday, also holiday on July 4th.
Artwork Drop-off registration period: 7/5 (TH) 7/6 (FRI) 7/7 (SAT) 11:00AM-6:00PM
*We do not accept any artworks drop-off before/after this term map/direction
Exhibition Starts: Friday, July 13
Award Ceremony & Closing Party: Wednesday, August 22 4:30-6:00PM
Official commendation ceremony with jurors and guests. * Open for public/No Entry Fee
Artwork Pick-up period: 8/22 (W) after the ceremony & 8/23 (TH) 8/24 (FRI) 8/25 (SAT) 11:00AM-6:00PM

Prize:
-Two Awards from each juror, plus, two Awards from ISE Cultural Foundation. It will be selected after the exhibition starts.

-Exhibited Artist(s) will have an Group Exhibition, and possibility of solo exhibition at the Front Space, ISE Cultural Foundation.
--Each Awardee receives a certificate from ISE Cultural Foundation and a gift from the support companies.
Eligibility
- Full-time art students from Undergraduate and Graduate school level only
- Art students graduated this year are eligible
- Must be under 35 years old
- Part-time students, Continue Ed. Students, and High School students are NOT eligible
How to Apply
2D WORK/- Send or bring your actual artwork, we do not select any artworks for the entry. 2D work includes painting on canvas, drawing, work on paper and photo with a frame, NO GLASS and must be framed or paneled in professional manner
- Maximum size 4 feet x 4 feet including a frame/ No more than 20 pound
- Please indicate up/down clearly
SCULPTURE/- Please indicate front/back & up/down clearly
- Maximum size 5 feet x 5 feet x 5 feet/ No more than 20 pound
- We do NOT accept site-specific installation work.
To qualify, you have to submit:
1) Artwork
2) Entry Fee
3) Agreement & Entry Form

Regulations
- One or two artworks per person only.
- Bring your artwork to the gallery directly during the drop off period, or send your artwork by mail.
- Artwork must be made within 2 years.
- Wall pieces must include all hardware and be ready to hang. Necessary assembly and mounting instructions and materials must be provided with artwork.
- Please do NOT submit 2 or more separate pieces as one artwork.
- Artwork must be clearly marked to identify the artist.
- No Peanuts (small foam balls) in shipping box please.
- Artist will be responsible for all transportation and round shipping expenses
- ISE will NOT accept any work not following the regulations.
- Payment for the Entry Fee by check, International money order, or Paypal. We do NOT accept Cash, but will accept Cash for hand delivery only.
- We do not take credit card at the gallery.
- If ISE Cultural Foundation finds any inappropriate artwork for public, ISE will NOT accept the work (inappropriate work may be artwork containing hazardous materials, artwork expressing hate or discrimination against certain group).
Non-refundable Entry Fee: $15 for one artwork / $25 for two artworks
No Selection. We exhibit all artworks we receive.

How to Drop-off or Ship your work
Drop-off
Bring your artwork to the gallery directly during the drop off period with the Forms and check, cash, or a copy of a receipt paid by Paypal.
- If you cannot come to drop off/pick up your artwork, and another person, friend, or family comes to drop off/pick up your artwork for you, please write her/his name, phone #, and email address on the Agreement Form.

Shipping your work
Send your artwork by mail during the drop off period with the Forms and check, International money order, or a copy of a receipt paid by Paypal.
-Shipping packaging must be re-usable for the return shipping, and include re-packing instruction as necessary.
Submit from US:
please include one of the below;
A) Arranged return shipping form by UPS/FedEx or sufficient postage for USPS
OR,
B) Sufficient check or money order payable to ISE Cultural Foundation, or use Paypal (we accept total amount of shipping fee and the entry fee). *Please use the "Donate" button when you pay by Paypal.
Submit from outside of US:
please include;
sufficient amount of International money order in US dollar payable to ISE Cultural Foundation, or use Paypal (we accept total amount of shipping fee and the entry fee).
If there is not enough amount of check or money order with your items, we will not return your artwork/ any questions please email us: ise@iseny.org

How to Pick-up or Return by shipping your work
Pick-up
After the exhibition, please come to the gallery to pick up your work during the pick up period. Any remaining artworks will be discarded after the end of pick up term. You also can pick up your work after the Award Ceremony and Closing Party.

Return by shipping
- It usually takes at least 2-4 weeks to receive your artwork after the exhibition. Please contact us if you have any questions at ise@iseny.org
